About the Exhibition

For the third exhibition in the P E R I C L O programme, Owain McGilvary and Yan White were invited to curate a group exhibition, Supermarket Sweep: Bonus Round.

The show joined the practices of six artists, each holding connections to what we see in a trip to the supermarket. Referencing the 90s TV show of the same name, the exhibition explored our experience of the everyday encounter and collectively touched on the impact of consumerism and theatricality of the supermarket.
